ARRIVALS AND DEPARTURES.
LAST YEAR’IS (STATISTICS. WELLINGTON, Jan. 27. During tho year 1908 the number of persons who arrived in New Zealand was 44,970, and tro departures were 30,709. The number of assisted immigrants for the year was 4478. and they brought with them capital aggregating £99,802.
