ENDON BREAKS HER CRANK

When the steam trawler Enilon did not return from her fishing cruise at the expected time yesterday, one ol her owners, Mr. G. Huston, took a 'ia.escojre and went to search tuc horizon for her. He descried her lying off Young Nick’s Head, with -a ffag, evidently ft signal of distress, flying. v[r Huston informed the harbor vutiiorities, and the Harbor 'Board » lunch, in charge of Captain Mai tin,--.ssistant harbormaster, went out at--1 n.m. to render assistance.. Hall-•.u-liour later she reached the Union, -which irvas riding to the fishing usd’s customary sea-anchor, a trawl, and flying the flag which had attracted -attention —a large -blanket. FI in master informed Captain Martin ■post the trailer’s crank shaft had broken at 2 p.m. 'The launch took rise disabled vessel in tew, and arriv'd at the wharf with her at half-past / o'clock. The breM-k in the lindens ;hait occurred between the engine uni the sterntube. and therefore the impeller iwas not lost. It is antrupated that ill re fracture will be repaired by means of a coupling, and that the trawler -will be ready to re--uine work to-day.
