The .Department of Industries and Commerce- has received from the High Commissioner the official list of awards at the Franco-British Exhibition. Cbmparing this official list With the press list originally published, it was ""found, that the' following errors had occurred in the latter: Applied' chemistry: Patterson’s. Varnish and Color Company, gold medal should be silver medal; Firth Pumice Co., Empire Manufacturing Co., bronze medal should be silver medal ; John. Newton and Sons, Ltd., Kaiwarra (Burns’ A 1 soap), honorable mention should be silver medal. ,
