LOAN PROPOSALS

Particulars are advertised in this issue of the following special loans 'for which the Gisborne Borough Council intends to obtain the sanction of the ratepayers: £41,390 for street improvement. £35.000 for sewerage and drainage. 1 £20,000 for outfall sewer and power house. £IO,OOO for house connections. £6,1-50 for recreation- grounds. A meeting of the ratepayers to consider the proposals is to be held in His Majesty’s Theatre at 8 p.m. on Monday, January 25.
