POVERTY BAY ASSOCIATION

A special general meeting of the Poverty Bay Cricket Association Avas held last e\-euing in the British Empire Hotel, Mr. W. F. Cedeiwall (President) presiding. The rules as revised at the last general meeting \\ r cre read and confirmed .

At the close of the general meeting, a meeting of the Management Committee Avas held.

Mr, W. Gibson Avas appointed manager of the PoA r erty Bay team to visit Napier, Mr. R. W. Cary to act in the event of Mr. Gibson being unable to accompany the team. It Avas decided to play an all-day match on Boxing Day,, commencing at 10.30 a.m., between the repesentative team selected for the Napier trip and an eleA'en chosen from the rest of PoA'erty Bay. A discussion took jfiace on the desirability of all players appearing in flannels in competition matches, and the A'arious delegates avc«t> requested to bring the matter before their clubs.
