The (poultry pamphlet recently prepared by Mr D. D. Hyde, the expert in this division, haft been in great request outside as well as within New Zealand. Mr George Howell, a breeder of poultry on a large scale at Wentworth, New South Wales, recently received one such pamphlet, and in acknowledging it said, “It is considered just the thing the everyday poultry farmer requires. 'lt li® full of practical and useful information frogn beginning to end, and is a credit to Mr Hyde. There is a lot of stuff on the market by so-called poultry experts which would puzzle a Philadelphia lawyer to understand. I have read stuff which, instead of encouraging men into the industry, would drive them out of it.’
