NEW MINISTERS UNDERSTOOD TO BE SELECTED.
MINISTERIAL MOVEMENTS

WELLINGTON, Dec. 17. It is understood that the question of tlie new Ministers was finally settled 1 at a meeting of the Cabinet held yesterday morning.. Sir Joseph Ward informs me that his mind on the question was made up immediately after the election, and he has had no reason to change it. It is probable that no announcement regarding the Cabinet changes wiU-.be made till just before or after the Christmas holidays. Sir Joseph Ward will leave lor Auckland on Saturday morning. He expects to return to Wellington on Wednesday or next week. He will go South for a brief holiday, during which he will attend the Bluff regatta.
[Press Association.] WELLINGTON, Dec. 17. The Hon. G. Fowlds leaves Wellington for Auckland via New Plymuoth. He will spend Christmas and the New Year in Auckland. The Prime Minister lias decided to •accept several invitations to visit Auckland. He will leave Wellington for the north on Saturday., returning before Christinas. The Hon.’ J. McGowan leaves for the Thames a few days before Christmas.
