LONDON, Dec. 15. The French press are irritated at General Castro being allowed to traverse France without a settlement of French claims. Fie is living in great style at Berlin. Herr von Schoen, Minister for Foreign Affairs, sent him official greetings. The Dutch captured a coastguard vessel with 23 men at Mays, northwards of Cumana. The crew were •landed, and the vessel convoyed to Ouracoa, under an embargo, intended to force General Gomez to declare General Castro’s fall. French advices from Venezuela | state that an insurrection against jSfeneTal Castro has begun in Meruda district.
