A DISQUALIFICATION

AVELLINGTON, Dec. 16. The stewards of the Wellington Pony and Calloway Racing Club have disqualified AV. Cooper, alder of Raulioe, during the pleasure of the club, for deliberate pulling in the District Handicap Race at Miramar last Saturday.

The totaljsator investments for the two days amounted to £7223 10s, as against £9619 10s last year. The morning was fine, hut hy noon rain began to fail land seriousy interfered with the enjoyment of the meeting. The attendance was fair, and the totalisator figure £4931, as against £8370 last year.
