CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 15. RAt a meeting to-day of the execu-tive-of the New Zealand Sports Federe eration, letters were read from the New Zealand Athletic Union and Southland Caledonian Society in re-gj,. | spect to an offer of the executive to effect a setilement of the dispute between the two bodies. The Union ac-'P> cepted the offer, but the Society re-’ve fused. The executive decided that cn having exhausted all means of settling the dispute, the request of the ; Union to make the disqualification of the Society general throughout the Dominion be granted, the decision to be forwarded to all bodies affiliated to the-Federation. It was also decided to send a complete statement of the case to . all the affiliated bodies.
