POVERTY BAY CRICKET *AS3O- -

The usual weekly meeting of the Poverty Bay Cricket Association was held last night in the British Empire Hotel, when there was la large number of delegates present, with Mr. W. F.. Ceder-walU occupying the chair. Several matters of routine business were dealt with, and after discussion it was resolved to write to the Toldga Bay Club stating that ia strong feeling existed in this district regarding the sending of a team -to Tologa at either Christmas or New - Year, and asking them to mention a suitable date about that time. . The selection committee reported ■favorably on reference to the sending of a- team to Napier at Christmas time, and it was resolved that all club matches after this week be postponed until the first week in January.
