THE AUCKLAND TEAM. [Press Association.] AUCKLAND Dec. 14. The selectors of the Auckland Cricket Association selected to-night fourteen players from whom the eleven to play Otago and Canterbury will be chosen. The players are as follows:—Cook, Smith, Cummings, A. Francis, Hadden, Hemus, Howden, Jacobsen, Jones, Mason, McCormick, Relf, Robinson, Sale, and Stemson. The final eleven chosen will comprise the strongest batting combination that has ever represented the province. No less than five of the fourteen have scored centuries this season.
