CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 14. The takings at the football matches at Lancaster Park during the football season amounted to £2004 4s 3d. The balance-sheet of the Canterbury Rugby Union show's the year’s receipts at £1330 6s 8d and expenditure £1196.
INTER-UNIVERSITY MATCH
LONDON, Dec. 13
The inter-University Rugby football match Oxford v. Cambridge, resulted in a draw, one goal each. Oil-ray, a New Zealander, played for Oxford, and l Chapman, a New Zealander, for Cambridge.
