The League of tho Empire is arranging for a federal conference oil the question of education in 1911.

THE MILTON TERCENTENARY

The Lord Mayor, the sheriff's, Sir Philip Magnus, Dr. Clifford, Mr. Holman Hunt, and representatives of the universities and learned societies, attended the services at Bow Church, Cheapside, in connection with the Milton tercentenary. A brilliant banquet was given in the Mansion House in the evening.
