Three thousand cases of fruit and 360 cases of onions from Australia were landed from the Ulimaroa toddy.

At the avool sales there was good competition the prices being unchanged. Olioka clip sold at 16£d, Wailii at 7id. ;/’V Later. The wool market is less animated, and a quieter tone prevails. Prices for crossbreds are maintained, but merinos are slightly in buyers’ favor.

Taverner, Agent-General for Victoria, in the course of an interview, expressed the hope that the speedy and universal publication by tho International Agricultural Insth tute of tho Government’s figures relating to wheat, wool, and other products would cliec'k to some extent the speculation of the middlemen.
