DRINKING IN MILDURA.
SENSATIONAL STATEMENT.
A LABOR MEMBER’S ALLEGATIONS.
United Press Association. Copyright (Received Dec. 10, 12.40 a.m.) ADELAIDE, Dec. 9. Mr. Wilson, a Labor member, made a sensational .statement in regard to the amount of drinking in Mildura, where no hotels are found. There are four clubs there. In the workman’s club, he said, 200 men were drinking, and he saw more drink consumed in an hour than he ever saw in one placo in his life. He thought that drinking in >a foul den in San Francisco before the fire could not have been worse than he saw at the workman’s club.
