THE WOODVILLE MEETING

WOODVILLE, Dec. 8. The rain which has fallen during the last two days has done the course a lot of good. The weather has every appearance now of romaining fine for the Woodville .summer meeting, which starts to-morrow. The town is full of visitors, and everything jaoints to a successful meeting. The horses have been scratched for all engagements : Sir Antrim, Advantage, Astraea, Dnil, Moriarty, Chicane, Mallet, Torn, and Change. For the Hurdles: Indian Mutiny. For the Welter: White Star.
