Tenders for the erection of the Auckland post office have been considered bv the Cabinet. PEILDING AS A-STOCK CENTRE FEILDING, Dec. S.

The Feilding Chamber of Commerce last night set up a committee of business men to advertise the advantages of the district as a stock centre. The president. Air. Tolley, in proposing the committee, pointed out that with the opening of the Arain Trunk line Feilding must make an effort to retain its position as the chief stock centre of the North Island, the rates obtained for stock here being looked on as the ruling rites for the North Ida lid.
