It was stated yesterday that Mr. J. Little,- Borough Inspector, who lias been lying in a somewhat serious condition during the past few days, was showing signs of a slight improvement. Mr. \Y, A. Barton, SAL, left for the Coast yesterday morning on his periodical visit to the different stations, and returns in about ten davs’ time. Mossite H. Bright and. A. ‘T. Coleman .also left to attend jidie tittings of the Court. Miss Mcllhone, who has tunes assisted at various certs in Gisborne, intends to emer into the practice of a. teacher of pianoforte and music in this town eai'ly next year.
