Messrs Richardson and Co.'s Fanny arrived from Napier eau.y yesterday morning, bringing a general cargo,, including 60 tons of rails for tfie Railway Department. She returned to Napier in the afternoon, and if the weather permitted she was to call at Mangakuri to land cargo and to load wool. The U.S.S. Co.’s Tuatea returned from Pakarae yesterday morning with 173 bales of wool, which she transhipped to the s.s. Maori in the Bay. The Tuatea had 'rather a rough time on Monday night owing to the "bad 1 weather, and was compelled to return -without loading ai'.l the wool that was available for tier. The schooner Awanui, which, has boon endeavoring for a few days to get away for Tologn Bay. returned to port yesterday, as with the prevail in ir weather conditions she would ho unable to work that port. The U.S.S. Co.'s Flora left for Napier yesterday afternoon, and is expected to return to this port in time to leave for Coast ports and Auckland on (Saturday morning. The U.S.S. Co.'s Squall completed her discharge yesterday afternoon and sailed for Auckland. Amongst her <nrgo for this port was a, pleasureboat for 'Mr. Geo. Smith, and her outward loading included 10 tons of manure and 70 sacks of maize. The scow Rangi, which was weather hound in the Bay for a couple or days, left again for Tairua and Auckland yesterday morning, and the southerly blowing yesterday would be in her favor for a quick run up the coast. The U.S.S. Co.’s Waikare, which should arrive from Napier this mornning, has been delayed ut that port owing to the heavy rain experienced there yesterday. She is now timed to leave there at noon to-day, and the Tuatea is timed to leave the wharf here at 7 p.m. (meantime). The U.S.iS. Co.’s Alokoia arrives rfom Auckland and Sydney this afternoon and sails again for South in the evening. The Tuatea leaves the wharf on her arrival and agiin at 7 p.m. The Maoriland S.S. Co.’s Torgauten was due from Grey mouth yesterday afternoon with a, cargo of timber, but up till last night she had not put in [in appearance in the Bay. It is thought she may' be sheltering somewhere from the southerly, and that she will come in this morning. Loading operations were being carried out on board the s.s. Maori yesterday in the Bay, but owing to the inclement weather there were one or two stoppages during the evening. It is expected that she will complete her loading this .afternoon and sail for Wellington.
