HOSPITAL TRUSTEES.
MONTHLY MEETING
The monthly meeting of the Gisborne Hospital Trustees was held last evening. Present: Mr. J. W, Bright (chairman), Messrs A, F. Matthews, F. J. Lysnar, E. H. Mann, A Dewing, and the Hon. Capt. Tucker. The Treasurer (Mr. E. C. Matthews) reported that £603 12s 6d had been received during the month from various spurces. The Secretary- reported that during the month of ’November 37 patients had been admitted to the institution ami 26 had been discharged, 3 (had died ; leaving 35 inmates in the Hospital on December Ist. Both reports were received. . Mr. Mann moved that Miss McLean’s report, read at >a previous meeting of the Board, be adopted, and the by-laws be altered in accordance with the recommendations.
Mr. F. J. Lysn-ar seconded the motion.
The motion avas carried, the Chairman and Mr Matthews voting against it. Mr. Matthews then moved that the motion declining t«j refundto the Friendly Societies’ Conference be rescinded. Mr. Mann seconded the motion, which, after discussion, avas carried. No motion to- refund any portion of the money was put to the meeting. The accounts were then passed for payment, and the meeting adjourned.
