‘‘Blessed be Drudgery’ ’ as the title of a boo'k writen by Thomas a Kempis. There ds drudgery enough to satisfy the most exacting on a large dairy farm where the cows are hand-milk-ed. Most folk like to avoid drudgery, and when the “Lawrence-Kennedy-Gillies” machine came along, doing the milking in half the time with less than half the labor, they felt more inclined to say “Blessed be the Lr.K.Or. milking machine.” Messrs teacock and Andrews, Dannevirke, say: Ike machine milking is heaven compared with the old drudgery.
