THE NEW ALPINE AIINE
[Special to “Times.”] GREYAIOITTH, Dec. 3. The New Alpine mine manager ■reports as follows: During tho week the cross-cut was extended a further distance of 25ft, making a- total crosscut of 91 ft. The falling-off in this week is due to the ground proving very had drilling ground. The last ground drilled took two shifts and aquarter what should be done easiily in one and a-balf shifts. However, I look for an improved measurement next week.
