DUNEDIN, Dec. 3

When Air. W. Begg, whoso commission in the North Dunedin Rifles was. recently cancelled, was re-electec lieutenant by the company, it was considered by the company that the existing troubles hud been overcome, and the company rescinded a resolution to disband. It is understood, however, that the. Defence Council has refused to recommend the re-ap-pointment of Air. Begg, so it may mean tliut the company will revert to dts decision to disband.
