Eight thousand out of ten thousand Indians in the Transvaal have registered. One thousand applications for registration were rejected. The restwill be prosecuted.
A TRAMCAR ROBBED
NEW YORK, Dec. 2
Four armed men and three women boarded a tramcar in the heart of New York at three o’clock in the morning. They murderously assaulted the conductor, and robbed 65 passengers of jewellery and money, and then decamped.
