ROAIE, Dec. 2
Professor Fusina initiated an interesting debato in the Italian Chamber of Deputies, expressing approval of the Government’s foreign policy, especially towards Austria.
Signor Barzilai created a sensation by stating that when Signor Robiliant was Foreign Minister Austria expressed her willingness to cede the Trentino to Italy in the event of definite annexation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. -
[The Trentino is. the district around and ‘ including the city of Trent, in the South Tyrol, Austria. . The city is quite Italian in aspect, habits, and language, and is only 59 miles from Verona, in Italy. With Trieste, the Trentino forms what is known to Italian patriots as “Italia Irredente,” “Unredeemed Italy,” or Italy still pnder foreign domination.]
