SCHOOL CADETS.
BATTALION ORDERS.
The following orders have been issued for the Third .Battalion, Hawke’s Bay Public School Cadets: It has been definitely decided that a Field Day will he held at Ormond on Saturday next, otli just. Owing to one of the engines being disabled, the special train from town will not start til.! 11.30 a.m. Return will be made by the ordinary evening train. Parents and others may travel by this train on payment of the ordinary fare. Cadets travel free by rail. They will provide their own lunch. PLAN OF CAMPAIGN ; Position is occupied by a force under Capt. AlcLeod with Ormond, Alatawhero and Patutahi forces, between Newman’s and Graham’s, base t-o be located by a flag. They will detrain at the road-cross-ing beyond Ormond and .advance at once upon the position. Lunch will be at 1.30 p.m. A company shooting match will be held in The afternoon, teams of three to be selected from the respective companies.
