Apropos of Lord Robert’s warning 'that the invasion of England is possible, and despite official advice not to discuss the subject, important German newspapers admit that invasion is possible, though difficult.
The “Neue Frie Press©” advises Germany to' unexpectedly annihilate the British home fleet, and then invade tho country.
HALDANE’S OPTIMISM
CONSIDERS INVASION IMPOSSIBLE.

Mr. Haldane, speaking at Cambridge, said Lord Roberts had suggested a rival army scheme before the present one had been tried. Soldiers •and sailors had investigated the possibility of transporting 150,000 invaders .across tlie sea, and regarded it as an impossible feat.
