(Received Nov. 16,. 9.35 p.m.) . United Press Association. Copyright

PEKIN, Nov. 16

The late Emperor apparently died from neurasthenia. After lying in a state of coma since Thursday, he recovered consciousness on Saturday, .and refused to be removed to the Pavilion of Peaceful Longevity, thus violating precedent, and expired without donning the proper robes or indicating a site for his mausoleum. One hundred days’ mourning is to be observed for Emperor and twentyseven months in the case of the Do-wager-Empress.
