THE MAYOR. AND NO-LICENSE.
[To the Editor.] „ Sir, —Mr. Geo. Lysnar called on ane to-day and stited I had misunderstood that part of our conversation which referred to Mr. W. D. Lysnar’s neutral attitude on the subject of No-license, which he states only referred to his acting impartially in presiding at meetings of the No-license pnty. I am quite prepared to believe that this misunderstanding existed, though it was in its broadest sense I accepted Mr. GeoLysnar’s statement. —1 am, etc., FRANCIS STAFFORD.
