LOCK-OUT TERMINATED

A MILLION IN WAGES LOST. United Press Association, Copyright (Received Nov. 8, 4.20 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 7. The lock-out in the Lancashire cotton trade ha® been terminated on the basis cabled yesterday. The operatives lost a million sterling in wages and spent £200,000 of trade union funds. [The basis of settlement was a postponement of the 5 per cent, reduction in wages until 'March next.] A LOSS OF SEVEN MILLIONS. (Received Nov. 8, 4.35 p.m.) LONDON, Nov. 7. The Employers’ Federation estimate the total losses by the cotton strike at seven millions sterling.
