In the semi-final of the Poverty Bay Rowing Club’s trial fours, rowed' on the Waimata river last night, between, crews stroked by J. Nicoias and 1 McGuffie, Nicolas’ crew _ won easily. To-night the final wild be rowed off between J. W. Nicolas (stroke), C. Winter, J. Malone, G. Smith, and F. iSeymour (stroke), 1. McConnell, W. Pritchard, E. bitfield, when a good race s anticipated.
