The sixth annual meeting of the Kia Ora Co-operative Dairying Co. was held in the Waerenga-a-hika Public Hal’l last night. Mr. J. A. Caesar, chairman of directors, presided, and there was a large attendance of shareholders, and the meeting throughout was very satisfactory. The report and balance-sheet were read and adopted unanimously. The report referrred to the difficult and trying season which had been experienced, and congratulated the shareholders that notwithstanding this fact the net profit on tlie year’s working was £1390 18s 4d, which was chiefly to lie accounted for by the extra prices realised at the butter sales. Reference was also made to the installation of the 'new. plant at the factory, and the erection of the new creamery at Te Aral, both of which were claimed to bo working satisfactorily. The retiring directors, Messrs J. A. Caesar, O. Gallagher, and N. A. Coster, were re-elected unanimously, and a hearty vote of thanks to the chairman and the staff brought the -meeting to a close. •It 'was decided that a general meeting of shareholders, to confer on the affairs of the company, ho held about six months ihence, the date to be fixed upon later.
