CRICKET.

The Thursday competition will he continued at Auctoria Domain this afternoon, when Te Ran meets Cosmopolitan on the concrete wicket, and United plays Union on a new chipped wickeit. The following players will represent United : Hallamore, AlooreSampson, Gorman, Trafford-Reynolds, Brown, Farrell, Williams, J. Dore. Lang, Harre, Sainsbury, and J. Dore.

The following Cosmopolitan players are requested to meet at Victoria Domain at 2.15 to-day: G. Puflett, I. Gr/nlinton, S. Roderick, R. AY. Cary, J. Ferris, P. Hallam, Edwards, Bousfield, Brennan, AVilkinson, H. Alaude, D. Barry, H. Andrews, Holmes, P. Sheridan, H. E. Dodd, H. Sharp, Austen, Lockie. R. Grant, and others who may attend. A selection committee and captain will be appointed on the ground, and the team will proceed to play its first competition match, against Te llau. The fol lowing players will represent Te ®uu in their cricket match against the Cosmopolitan team this afternoon : AY. H. Wack, H. Alinnus, ■J. AY. Scholium, P. Rewai, J. Alonk, G. H. Rose, E. Featon, O. R. Olsen, P. Sim, T. Hogan, and J. H. AA’ack. In the cricket match this afternoon between the Union and the United Clubs the Union team will be selected from the following players: Coleman, Austen, Grant, Sheridan, Pollock, Gibson, Doyle. Neill, Pavne, ShiHabeer, Tattersall, Fox, Luttrell, AA Tilkinson.
