Co.’s ’Monowai arrived from South yesterday morning .with a large number of passengers for this port. The Huddart-Parker Cods \ ictoria arrived from Auckland yesterday afternoon, and sailed South in the evening. The ketch Coronation arrived from Whitianga yesterday morning after a rather rough passage. She brought 70,000 ft of timber for different consignees.’ The scow Alert arrived from Ngunguru yesterday with a shipment of Northern, coal for the Sheepfarmers’ Co.
The scow Kia Ora arrived from Whitianga yesterday evening with a full cargo of timber for Messrs Peacocke and. Co. Messrs Richardson and Co.’s Ruru arrived from South yesterday morning with general cargo, including n large quantity of timber. She sailed for Tokomaru to unload timber and shin wool.
The three-masted scow Zingara passed the Oipe yesterday on her way to this 1)01 1.
Captain Gregory, of the steamer Wanaka, has identified, part, of the wreckage found on the West Coast, south of Cape Maria Van Diemen, as belonging to the Loch Lomond. BY TELEGRAPH.
