THE GiSBQRNE SEAT.
The Hon. James Carroll will 'address the electors at His Majesty’s Theatre at 8 o’clock this evening. Mr. W. Lissant Clayton will 'address the electors at Moliaka School this evening. THE BAY OF PLENTY SEAT. The address by Mr. D. London, advertised to bo given 'this evening, at Messrs Nelson Bros’, freezing works, will not take place, owing to tho Hon. J. Carroll speaking in Gisborne to-night. Mr. J. B. :Gow is to give an address -at Wigan this afternoon, and another at Tologa Bay this evening. Mr. AV. D. S. MacDonald will give an address at the Ilall, Tuparoa, this evening. . Mr. D. Lundon, of Itotorua, who is contesting the Bay of Plenty electorate as an Independent and Liberalcandidate, addressed a meeting of electors at Ormond last night. Mr. Lundon was accorded an. attentive hearing, and at tho conclusion of his address answered a number of questions. A vote of thanks to the candidate was carried unanimously. TELEGRAPH STATIONS TO REMAIN OPEN. [Puess Association.] WELLINGTON, Nov. 3. In consequence of the last- day for nominations falling on November 9, when the telegraph offices are .usually shut, instructions have been given lor all stations necessary to open again at 5, iand remain open till the returning officers are clear. THE WELLINGTON ROLLS. The number of names on'the Wellington electoral rolls are: Wellington North 10,200; South 9200; Central 9305; East 8640; Suburbs 8640.
