COOK COUNTY ELECTIONS.
THE NOMINATIONS
The following nominations were received yesterday for councillors for the following ridings of the Cook County:— Whataupoko riding: Mr. W. D. Lysnar, nominated by Messrs. McLougbliii and Sievwright; Mr. A. F. Matthews, nominated by Messrs. J. Hamon and J. W. Nolan. Patutahi: Mr. R. Slierratt. Gisborne: Hon. Ca.pt. Tucker, and Mr. C. J. Parker.Waimata: Messrs. J. C. Field and T. Holden.
Hangaroa: Messrs. F: J. Lysnar and H. H. Wall.
Tologa Bay: Messrs E. B. Boland and H. B. Williams. The nominations for the Arai riding close to-day. The election will be held on Wednesday next. Mr. It. She it aft being the only person nominated for the Patutahi riding, he is, therefore, elected.
