Mr. Taft declares that the issue is whether the trusts are to he regulated by the Republicans or extirpated under Mr. Bryan. The people must choose the method of revising the tariff, and decide whether to maintain the home market for American products, giving labor proper rewards, or cripple industries by reductions regardless of dift'erenco in wages at home and abroad. Mr. Bryan declares that the great issue is—Shall the people rule?
