They admit that whoever carries New York will carry the country. “Collier’s Weekly” relates how two employees of the Standard Oil Company sold various films of Archibold’s letters to Hearst, who paid £6OO sterling for the privilege of photographing them. . Some of them were afterwards returned' to the files. Letters to Senators Aldrich, Penrose, and Kenna- are still unpublished.
