The New Zealand Loan and -Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London office re wool : “As compared with last sales’ -closing rates prices are about the same. - for crossbred lambs and greasy crossbred, and fine crossbred slipe, about 5 per cent, tower for lambs and medium crossnrcd slipe, about 5 per cent, to 7\ per cent, lower for scoured merino super, about par to 5 per cent, higher for -greasy merino. Sales closed firmly this day. Average current value of tlio undernoted descriptions of New Zealand wool : Good, merino llfd, medium merino 9RI, -inferior merino 7id, fine .crossbred lid, medium crossbred; Sid, coarse -crossbred (40’s) 6ld, coarse crossbred (36’s) 6Jd.”
