O: Murray, L.L.D., was thorn in Sydney in 1866, and when eleven'years of age went to London, where lie received his education. lie was 'Professor of Greek at Glasgow University from 1889 to 1899. ITe is well known as a clever and •prolific writer on Greek history, and «lie has also written some plays. In 1900 the collaborated on. .a work on “Liberalism' and tlie Empire.”]
