s Tlio Shaw, Savill and Albion Co.’s lonic completed loading early on Saturday morning and sailed for jpondon direct. The U.IS.S. Co.’s Tavawera arrived from South on Saturday morning and sailed again .for ‘Auckland early in the afternoon. She brought transhipments ex s.s. Athenic from London. and returns from Auckland on T Wednesday afternoon. U.S.S. Co.’s Monotvai returned from Auckland yesterday afternoon, and sailed South again early in the evening. The U.iS.S. Co.’s Squall’ is due from Tologa Hay and* Auckland this morning with a- general cargo. •' The T7.S.S. Co.’s Haupiri was at Waipiro on | Saturday, and is due to arrive here to-d-i.v. Messrs Richardson and Co.’s Fanny is due to-morrow morning with general cargo from Napier. The Westport Coal Co.’s Regains left Westport for Gisborne at 7.30 p.m. on Saturday evening. She will arrive 'here early to-morrow morning, land come alongside with the full tide.' Captain Mitchell, .litc chief officer of the company’s Canopus, and formerly master of the barquentine Frank Guy, is now in chargo of the Regtilus, in place of Captain Sellars, who is away on holiday leave.
The N.Z. Shipping Co.’s Rukaia will arrive here about November 9 from Auckland t 0 load frozen meat. She is timed to reach Home for the January sales. - .
The N.Z. Shipping Co.’s R.M.S. Rimntaka arrived at" Plymouth op Saturday morning after an; exceptionally fast run home of 40 days. The ketch, Coronation arrived at Whitianga on Saturday morning, where she will load timber for this port. The U.S.iS. Co.’s steamer ICittawa, which had just arrived at Wellington from Lyttelton, was coining into a berth at the Queen’s wharf at 3 o’clock on Friday afternoon when she collided with the rudder of the Atheoic, moored alongside the wharf.
