United Press Association. Copyright ATHENS, October 9. The-Cretan proclamation caused much excitement at Adieus, where it was not- expected. The- - Ministers are deliberating and are believed to be reluctant to disturb the good relations with Turkey.

Greek newspapers advise Turkey to accept the situation. The Consular body at Crete entered a protest but did not otherwise oppose the Cretan Government taking tho oath of fidelity to Greece.
