COUNTRY NOTES.
ORMOND. [From Our Correspondent.] . V October 10. The funeral of the late Air. Kenneth AY. McKenzie yesterday afternoon was largely attended, and severay beautiful wreaths from sympathising friends covered the cofiiu. The Rev. "Air. Grant conducted an impressive service at the grave. Air. Boland, I am sorry to say, had to go to the hospital this week suffering from the effects of a bee’s sting. His friends will be glad t*> see him return soon in good health. Wc have unfortunately some “undesirables” still in or about this settlement. One borrowed a horse without Air. Clapp’s leave ten days ago, and another filled a sack with lemons in Air. Binnie’s orchard, but failed to get them off the premises, and Air. Binnie had the satisfaction of getting his fruit picked for him without cost. The Salvation Army Bioscope was exhibited here last evening, and drew a larger house than did the political meeting. '*• '
