BREACH OF PROMISE CASE.

A writ lias been issued at tho instance of Ali.s* Ivy Salvin, an English lady now in Sydney, claiming 1:5000 damages from Mr. Bigwood, the husband of Miss Carrie Moore, for breach of promise. Aliss Salvin alleges that Bigwood purchased Lord Nortlicote’s motor-car for her lor 420 guineas. An injunction will be applied for to-morrow to restrain Bigwood from dealing with tlie car.
[A cable message last Thursday stated that the marriage was announced of Aliss Carrie Aloore, the wellknown actress, to Air. Bigwood, a young Englishman, who recently settled ill New Zealand.]
