MEMBER’S DAY. Though, the official programme closed on the 26th of September, a mixed foursome was arranged for Saturday afternoon last-. There was a largo entry, -and a most enjoyable afternoon’s play resulted. Tho winners turned up in Miss Adams and \V. Gibson, with a handicap of 6. Miss L. Tucker and W. G. Evans (Id) being a close second. The following were tho best cards returned:- , Miss Adams and Gibson. 95—G— S 9; Miss L. Tucker and Evans, 105 —15—90 ; Miss Agnow-Brown and G. Mullock. 10-1—13—91: Mrs. Cole and Bull, 9S—l—94; Miss E. Crawford and Traill, 402 —G —96; Miss DeLautour and N. Bull, 100—3—97 ; Miss O’Meara and Fenwick, 101—1—97; Mrs. Barlow and Brown, 10G —S —9S; Mrs. Scott and Dr. Sampson, 115— 10 —99; Airs. Bull and Adair, 110— 9 —101; Miss Bright and Murray, 113 —'ll—102; Miss N. Tucker and Smith, 115—10—105; Airs. King and Darton, 111 —5—106.
A seventeen-hole course was played, tho ninth hole being omitted. Considering the length of tho grass on the links at present, the form displayed was distinctly good. Airs. AV. Gibson gave afternoon tea.
