IRON BONUS BILL. NEW ZEALAND DUTIES. United Press Association. Copyright MELBOURNE, October 2. Sir Win. Lyne moved to reinstate the Iron Bonus Bill at the stage reached last session. The motion met with strong opposition, members demanding to know where the money for the bonus was to come from. An amendment was moved that the Bill he postponed till the day after the Budget was delivered. The debate was adjourned. In reply to a question Air. Deakin stated that correspondence was proceeding with the New Zealand Government in reference to New Zealand charging higher duties on goods imported into Australia and then exported into New Zealand than on similar goods imported direct to a New Zealand port.
