TENDERS FOR. ARMY” SUPPLIES

[Press Association.] WELLINGTON, Oct. 1. The Department of Industries and Commerce has received from the Lieut.-General, Commander-in-Chief at Malta, a form of tender calling for the supply of fresh meat and live cattle for the army and naval services in that command during the lieriod of twelve months from Ist January 1900. Tenders, which should be,rendered in duplicate, must, reach the office of the Assistant-Director of Supplies and Transport, Malta, oil the 2nd November, 190 S. In the event of a tender from this Dominion being accepted, notice of same will be cabled to the tenderer.
