Co.’s Squall arrived yesterday morning from Tologa Bay am( Auckland, and was brought alongside the wharf at 2 p.m. She returns again to Auckland to-day, calling in at Tologa on the way. The U.S.iS. Co.’s Haupiri is at present working Coast ports on her trip from Auckland to this port. She was at Tuparoa yesterday, and will probably arrive here towards the end of the week.
•The U.S.S. Co.’s Monowai arrives from South to-morrow morning, and sails later for Auckland. The Huddart-Parker Co.’s AYiinmora arrives from Auckland and Sydney to-morrow afternoon, and sails South in the evening. The U.iS.S. Co.’s Komata as duo to arrive to-night front Auckland and Newcastle, coal-laden. After dischariilg her cargo for this port, the vessel leaves for Napier. The U.S.S. Co.’s AVanaka is expected to load at Bluff on September 25, Oamaru 28, Timaru 29, and is due here about October 4th, on her way to Auckland. The U.S.S. Co.’s new steamer Alakura, 8000 tons, register, and 8000 horse-power, which is being, specially built for the Vancouver mail service, if* expected to leave Glasgow on September' 26th, Capetown on October 13th, .and Durban, on October 17th. The vessel is expected to reach Melbourne oil November 2nd. The ship carries passengers) in three classes, is well provided for in all the requirements of an up-to-date steamer, and will be a valuable addition, to the Sydney-A r ancouver service, which she v'ill enter on arrival in Australia.
