HOSPITAL SUNDAY.

The Hospital Sunday collection arranged by the Gisborne City Band, which was held yesterday, at Trafalfar Rotunda, was very successful. The Gisborne City Band, the Gisborne Private Baud, and the Salvation Army Band took part, and marched from the fireball to tho rotunda. The Gisborno City .Band played a selection from “Maritaua” and “Air Vario” (Hanover) on tbe rotunda ;the Salvation Army Band played the selection “Faith Triumphant” and “Hobson’s Bay” march, and also, during tho march, “Geelong.” The Gisborne Private Band played tlio overture “Crown, of Honour, ”Syringa,” and on the march “Tho Postman’s Parade” and “Ingomar.” The collection amounted to £8 2s 4d, which, with the Government subsidy, will mean that the hospital funds will benefit to ail amount of about £2O.
